TALLAGHT ROCKETS VOLLEYBALL CLUB

Our members come from many different backgrounds and range in ages from 16 to 50+! It’s never too late to start playing!

We currently do not have a youth team. We currently do not accept under 16s.

The team generally plays together two times a week.

Division 1: Our division 1 teams are best suited to those with intermediate competitive experience in college or a club level and above. These teams strive to place high in the league and to push their limits yet keep a good attitude of encouragement and mindset. Division 2: Our division 2 is best suited for those who are getting back into the sport after a long break, those who would like a less intense experience playing, those who want to improve their skills and those new to volleyball or with an injury.

The season generally begins in September and ends around May with numerous Volleyball Ireland tournaments throughout the season.

No, we do not have the capacity for this as Ireland is still in the developing stages of volleyball.

Club fees are currently 280 euro per annum (230 euro for students). These are paid to the treasurer in instalments or in a once off payment.

Yes, you must pay a fee to Volleyball Ireland to be a registered player for you to take part in the league.

Division 1 teams train Tuesdays from 8pm to 10pm Division 2 teams train Thursdays from 8pm to 10pm

Matches generally take place during the weekends. These are made up of home games (in our training venue) and away games which take place in the venue of another club.
